The Problem
Before your day even starts, your body is already on alert.
Your neck and shoulders are tight. Your stomach is unsettled. Your mind is scanning for what could go wrong. You've talked to friends. You've maybe even been to therapy. It helped you understand things—but the feelings in your body? Those haven't changed.
You're tired of being told to "just relax" or "think positive." You know it's not that simple.
What if your nervous system is stuck—and talking alone can't unstick it?
I know what it's like because I've been there.
In my early twenties, anxiety showed up uninvited. I was doing well in school, had great friends and family—and yet I was panicking. It didn't make sense.
Talk therapy helped me feel supported and understood. But it didn't actually lower my anxiety.
Everything changed when I worked with a therapist who understood the connection between the body and the mind. I learned that anxiety isn't just thoughts—it's a nervous system response. And you can't think your way out of a nervous system response. You have to work with the body.
That's the work I do now. And that's what I can help you do.

Body-based therapy for anxiety, trauma, and chronic pain
I use a combination of evidence-based approaches that work with your nervous system and the body:
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) — Helps your brain process stuck memories so they stop triggering you in the present.
Trauma Resiliency Model (TRM) — Teaches your nervous system how to return to calm, building resilience over time.
Mindfulness & Yoga Nidra — Practices that help you stay grounded and present in your body.
This might be right for you if:
• You've done talk therapy before and found it "helpful but not enough"
• Your anxiety shows up physically—racing heart, tight chest, muscle tension, stomach issues
• You've experienced trauma that still affects you, even if it happened long ago
You want something different than just "talking about your problems
• You live anywhere in California
